in Brockville, Kingston, Napanee, Prince Edward County, Belleville,
Quinte West, Bancroft, Cobourg, Peterborough, Lindsay and the

standardized testing, training, and clearance that all interpreters
must complete, agencies are able to share interpreting resources.
We offer 24
hour, 7 days a week, on-site and telephone interpretation. Our
clients expect high quality, professional and timely service.
Interpreters Associated with CEOTIS
Interpreters
associated with CEOTIS are independent, self-employed individuals
who are called upon by CEOTIS on an as-needed basis. CEOTIS does
not employ interpreters but has an agreement with interpreters
who meet the standards as set out by the province.
Interpreters
may work for other agencies and independently as long as they
do not work independently in an interpreting capacity with clients
of CEOTIS.
Interpreters
are chosen based on:
The candidates
performance during the interview
Successful completion of the language assessment test (CILISAT)
